Hello Christ Lutheran!

Here are some updates for this week . . .

OUTDOOR SERVICE ON JULY 5TH – See attachment for details about the service. Here are some highlights:

Sitting under the oak tree in your lawn chair. You can stay in your car and tune into 100.1FM to listen to the service, or you may sit at the pavilion. When entering an usher will collect your offering, record attendance, handout communion kits, bulletins, and direct where to park. (Note: We have condensed the bulletin to have only the service outlined.) We have also attached a copy of the bulletin if you wish to use your electronic devices to view.

UPDATE-The Call Committee has finished the church profile and it has been submitted to the Synod. Thanks to everyone who helped us by completing the survey. We are now moving forward to the interview process. Please continue to pray for our leaders and our candidates.

4TH OF JULY FIREWORKS ALTERNATIVE - The CELC Liberty and Justice For All Contemplation Garden will provide a special place for the congregation, friends, family, and extended community to quietly reflect on the past, present and future of the U.S.A. This garden installation will be located on the wooded side of the parking lot, near the old church and complement the memorial brick area. Respecting social distancing, everyone is invited to come as Spirit moves them on July 4th, to dedicate the garden by contributing a favorite or meaningful plant or flower (sun-loving perennial), or place a special stone or memento.

If anyone is able to donate bags of brown mulch, please drop them off on the bricks by the bench before July 1st.

Butterflies and silent contemplation are encouraged.
